KEYNOTES

DR. RALPH MARTIN

Ralph is the president of Renewal Ministries, an organization devoted to Catholic renewal and evangelization. Renewal Ministries is the sponsor of “The Choices We Face” a widely viewed weekly Catholic television and radio program distributed throughout the world and engages in a wide variety of mission work in more than 30 countries.

He is also the Director of Graduate Theology Programs in Evangelization and a professor of theology at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in the Archdiocese of Detroit . He holds a doctorate in theology from the Angelicum University in Rome.

Pope Benedict XVI appointed Ralph as a Consultor to the Pontifical Council for the New Evangelization where he currently serves. He was also appointed as a theological expert for the Synod on the New Evangelization.

He is the author of the widely read The Fulfillment of All Desire: A Guidebook for the Journey to God Based on the Wisdom of the Saints, and many books on spirituality and evangelization, such as Will Many Be Saved? What Vatican II Actually Teaches and Its Implications for the New Evangelization, and The Urgency of the New Evangelization, as well as many articles in scholarly and popular Publications.

He and his wife Anne reside in Ann Arbor, Michigan and are the parents of six and grandparents of nineteen.

 

SR. MARY GRACE, SISTERS OF Life

Sr. Mary Grace, S.V., grew up on the shores of Sydney, Australia, and graduated from the University of Notre Dame Australia with a degree in Theology.

Captivated by the beauty of each human life and feeling compelled to lay down her life to protect it, she worked for the campus ministry team before entering the Sisters of Life in 2013.

Sister Mary Grace made her first vows in 2018, and spent the past three years in Toronto, Canada, serving vulnerable pregnant women and their unborn children, inviting those wounded by abortion into the healing mercy of Jesus, and offering retreats.

She currently resides at St. Frances de Chantal Convent in the Bronx, New York, serving in the Evangelization Mission, which coordinates the sharing of the charism of life and fostering a culture of life throughout the US and worldwide. She is also the co-host of the Sisters of Life Podcast "Let Love." .


BREAKOUT SPEAKERS

AARON AND MONICA RICHARDS

Through their work with Damascus and Catholic Youth Summer Camp, Monica and Aaron Richards have developed a love for presenting the Gospel message of freedom, dignity, power and identity in a way that is engaging, entertaining, and direct.  

Monica, a licensed Doctor of clinical Psychology has an amazing ability to drill fearlessly into deep issues, develop trust, and facilitate pathways toward healing and wholeness for each individual she encounters. 

 Aaron is a gifted and personally invested worship leader, musician, teacher, and evangelist, and holds a BS in Theology and Chemistry.

The two, natives of Columbus OH, share a combined 28 years of experience in professional ministry, have worked in leadership with Catholic Youth Summer Camp since 2001 and are raising a missionary family with their four beautiful children

 

SR. MARIA ECCLESIAE OF THE DAUGHTERS OF HOLY MARY OF THE HEART OF JESUS

Sister Maria Ecclesiae is a Daughter of Holy Mary of the Heart of Jesus. The Charism of this Religious Order is total consecration to God, in union with Mary. As contemplatives and missionaries, the Sisters offer their lives in Love, Adoration and Reparation to the Sacred and Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, and strive to make Him known and loved everywhere, especially among youth and young adults. The Daughters of Holy Mary of the Heart of Jesus were founded by M. Maria de Jesús Velarde and approved by St. John Paul II in 1998. They are now in 10 countries, with about 600 Sisters in 44 convents. In Columbus, S. Maria Ecclesiae forms part of the Community of Sisters that serves at St. Paul the Apostle Parish and School, helping the children and youth there to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and his Most Holy Mother, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart. DENIS VENEZIANO

Denis Veneziano is a Project Manager at OHM Advisors and the Vice President & Director of Outreach for Young Catholic Professionals (YCP) Columbus Chapter. He was born in Italy where he grew up as a cradle Catholic but found the joy of a deeper faith through his encounter with Opus Dei. After moving to the US in 2014 he became involved in youth and young adult ministry. He loves cooking, sand volleyball, and traveling, but is most passionate about virtuous leadership.

 

Fr. David Sizemore

Fr. David Sizemore has been a Catholic priest since 1996 in the Diocese of Columbus, Ohio. He has been pastor of St. Francis de Sales parish in Newark, Ohio since July 2017.

 

Drew Snyder

Drew Snyder currently serves as the Director of Evangelization at Christ the King Church in Columbus. After experiencing a powerful encounter with Christ in college, Drew went on to serve on the front-lines of the New Evangelization with FOCUS and Saint Paul’s Outreach. As an experienced leader and speaker, Drew is passionately devoted to leading souls to Jesus and raising up vibrant communities within the heart of the Church. Drew holds a master's degree in Theology from Holy Apostles College and currently resides in Columbus with his wife Nicole and five children.

 

Fr. Michael Gentry

Fr. Mike was received into full communion with the Church Christ founded at Easter Vigil 2001. From there, he began a journey of healing, strengthened and renewed by the grace of the Sacraments and grew an active prayer life. Because the awe and wonder that the Mass brings only continued to grow in Fr. Mike’s heart, he discovered that his only real peace and fulfillment came at Mass, flowing from the Altar of Christ. Therefore, he applied and was accepted into the seminary for our diocese. Fr. Mike graduated from Pope Saint John XXIII National Seminary and was ordained a priest of the Diocese of Columbus in 2013. He is currently serving as an associate pastor at St. Francis de Sales Newark.
